Terms & Conditions

Following a site survey, all of our quotations are prepared as accurately as possible to carry out the specified tasks. The estimate is based on information supplied by the client regarding tiling specifications and any preparations that are needed including all observations made by a Ceramic Solutions representative.

Any change in specification may result in an extra charge being made.

  1. All prices quoted include; unibond sealer, adhesives, grouts and sealants or polishes (where necessary). A full description of tiling specifications and current prices to fix all types of tile can be found on our pricelist page.

  2. Metal or plastic edge trims will be charged to the nearest 1m from the rates shown in our current price list.

  3. All estimates are valid for 90 days.

  4. On acceptance, the estimate will represent an agreement between the client and Ceramic Solutions. Any changes in specification may result in an extra charge being made.

  5. All estimates exceeding £500 require a deposit of 25% at time of booking.

  6. All estimates that include supplying of tiles require a 50% deposit at time of booking.

  7. All work undertaken by Ceramic Solutions is dependent on site and materials being available on agreed date.

    Please note: Failure to notify cancellation of appointment within 24 hours for any reason, or poor quality workmanship carried out by other tradesmen that prevent Ceramic Solutions from carrying out the desired task will result in either, a charge for that day for the number of men on site, or a charge for the extra work needed to carry on with the job.   8. To maintain a high standard of craftsmanship, Ceramic Solutions only use high quality materials that are recognised throughout the tiling industry.

  9. Site to be available from 8.00 until 18.00.

  10. Site to be left clean and tidy at all times.

  11. Client to provide electrical and water supply during works.

  12. Final payment due on completion of works.

  13. All cheques to be made payable to Ceramic Solutions.

  14. All site rubbish will be bagged up and left tidy for client disposal.

  15. All rubbish can be removed on request at a minimum charge of £35.00

  16. Ceramic Solutions reserve the right to re-schedule works where necessary.

  17. Any plumbing and plastering work will be quoted separately from tiling works.

  18. Installation of fixtures and fittings (ie: toilet roll holder, towel rail etc.) can be arranged for an extra charge on completion of tiling works.
